I provide facilitation and planning support for strategic, operational, and project planning and evaluation. I also provide training and materials related to planning, evaluation, and special topics in service delivery. Some of my training areas include service delivery methods of practice, using learning outcomes, project planning and evaluation, working with graduate students, and supporting students interested in graduate studies.
Evaluation continues to be a hot topic for career centres. One current project of note is a CERIC partnership project I am coordinating in which we are creating an online tool called “Career Centre Evaluation: A Practitioner’s Guide” to help career centre leaders and staff create and implement programs of evaluation. The project working group includes the directors of the career centres for Trent University, the University of Toronto, the University of Waterloo, The University of Western Ontario, and the University of Windsor. Regular project updates will be posted on our project blog, as well as chances for you to input into the development of the guide.
